The Founder
Angella Kawala
1998 – Present
Angella Kawala is the visionary founder of Virtious Heart Foundation, established with a deep commitment to transforming lives across Uganda. Born and raised in Uganda, Angella witnessed firsthand the challenges facing vulnerable communities, which inspired her to create lasting solutions through sustainable development.
Every person deserves the opportunity to build a better future. Through education, healthcare, and economic empowerment, we can create sustainable change that spans generations.
Under Angella’s leadership since 2018, Virtious Heart Foundation has grown from a small community initiative into a respected NGO that has touched thousands of lives across Uganda. Her approach combines local wisdom with innovative solutions, ensuring that every project creates lasting impact while respecting community values and needs.

We are committed to financial transparency and ensuring that the majority of donations directly support our community programs. We maintain low administrative costs to maximize the impact of every contribution towards education, healthcare, and economic empowerment initiatives in Uganda.
